Каква езикова стратегия да използваме вкъщи?

Това е важен въпрос, с който родителите се сблъскват, когато решат, че ще е добре детето им да говори поне още един език. Най-често те избират една от трите стратегии, които ще опишем.

Първата е известна с името „Един родител, един език“, което ще рече, че всеки родител говори на различен език на своето дете. В този случай детето получава двоен лингвистичен багаж още от най-ранна възраст. И всичко това се случва по един изключително естествен начин. Тази стратегия има и един доста голям недостатък и той е, че единият език със сигурност няма да е говоримият в стараната, в която семейството живее и детето съвсем очаквано ще се ориентира към по-често употребявания.

Втората стратегия е – „Един език у дома, другия навън“, за нея изследвания казват, че функционира по-добре. При нея родителите решават да говорят на един език, този който е по-слабо разпространен и оставят другия да с еусвои от детето навън.

Третата стратегия е известна като – „Първо единия език, после другия“ – т.е. започва се първо с по-рядко употребявания докато не бъде затвърден и едва след това се преминава към другия.
